Student Health Services

strategy // design // front-end development

This redesign of Boston University's Student Health Services website aimed to reduce healthcare barriers, address reputational concerns among students, improve health literacy, and visually represent SHS's commitment to health equity and community values. In order to achieve these goals, I applied trauma-informed design principles throughout the site using an accessible visual approach featuring rounded edges, generous whitespace, a tranquil color palette, and clear information architecture. By emphasizing safety, transparency, and patient empowerment, the design makes health information easy to navigate and understand while conveying compassion, equity, and trust.

This design received an Honorable Mention in the 2026 UCDA Design Competition.
