Design & Development

  • Translate BU's academic and research endeavors into visually compelling designs, elevating web presence while facilitating involvement and collaboration among stakeholders.

  • Led the discovery, design, and development of BU's Office of Research redesign, merging internal and public-facing environments into a unified experience showcasing the university's research and innovation.

  • Conceptualized, designed, and developed 20+ award-winning, long-form editorial pieces for BU's online magazines, co-directing original photoshoots and building interactive elements to deliver compelling experiences, even in the case of limited visual assets.

  • Led the strategy, design, and development of the Graduate Education Program Finder, Comparison Tool, Resource Finder, and Pathfinder Tool from concept through iteration, using Figma prototypes for user testing and synthesizing demographic and behavioral data to define applicant archetypes for the Pathfinder Tool.

  • Led design and development for Student Health Services, applying trauma-informed design practices and presenting findings to advocate for trauma-informed approaches in sites dealing with sensitive content.

User Experience & Accessibility

  • Developed user discussion guides and testing protocols to structure interviews, focus groups, and usability evaluations, generating insights that drove iterative UX improvements across projects.

  • Designed high-fidelity prototypes with structured test plans for unmoderated usability testing via Playbook UX, using affinity mapping to identify optimal navigation patterns for BU's responsive framework themes.

  • Developed user surveys and tree tests, analyzed data with ACD and project teams, and presented findings to stakeholders to guide design solutions.

  • Collaborate with the Director of Development and Digital Creative Director to
identify and implement areas for applying new accessibility measures and
practices, concurrently engaging with other designers and developers to generate innovative solutions.

  • Created a web accessibility action plan to enhance digital accessibility in compliance with Minimum Web Accessibility Standards, advocating for prioritization aligned with BU's Diversity Statement.
