For Immediate Release February 25th, 2008 --- New York (NY) --- Angela McKenzie's Rendition of Country Classic "Somebody's Always Saying Goodbye" Chosen by the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum recently contacted The AMcK Initiative, Inc. to license the Angela McKenzie rendition of "Somebody's Always Saying Goodbye" which she performed on her album "9" with a duet on the bridge by Adam "Batman" Haggar. The Hall of Fame and Museum will play the song during their upcoming program "Poets and Prophets: Legendary Country Songwriters." This particular show honoring stellar country music songwriter Robert McDill will be held on Saturday, March 1st in the Hall Fame's Ford Theater at 2:00 PM and will be available for online streaming at www.countrymusichalloffame.com. McDill is best known for penning other classics such as “Amanda” (Don Williams, Waylon Jennings), “Good Ole Boys Like Me” (Don Williams), “It Must Be Love” (Don Williams, Alan Jackson), “Baby’s Got Her Blue Jeans On” (Mel McDaniel), “Everything That Glitters (Is Not Gold)” (Dan Seals), “Gone Country” (Alan Jackson) and many more. Canadian songbird Ann Murray made McDill's "Somebody's Always Saying Goodbye" famous and when she received the good news Angela said "I am so grateful that the Hall of Fame has chosen to use my rendition - after all I too am a Canadian singer with "AM" initials." Adding, "Also thrilling for me, is the fact that of all the chosen music for the show, mine is the only music from an independent-artist-owned record label."
